Friendly house with garden in Bethnal Green

Our wonderful flatmate M has moved to a squat so we are re-advertising/subletting her room. We are planning to hold viewings on the evening of Wed 26 February - and potentially this week-end 22/23 February (although one of us is away then).

It is a cute and quiet double room with a view of the garden. The room has just been repainted and new laminated wooden floors as well as double-glazed windows put in.  It is furnished with a European-sized double bed, small wardrobe, chest of drawers and a mini desk.

Our house is on a quiet residential street, with a small garden and many bird visitors. The shared areas are reasonably sized and well lit and there is space for bikes in the house. The spacious kitchen has all utensils you may need for cooking, baking and kombucha making; also our washing machine is quite new, Photo of the room and garden to follow.

We are within walking distance to/from Bethnal Green underground station (5min), Cambridge Heath Overground (10min) and Stepney Green on the District Line (12min). The Camel pub (1min), Buddhist Centre (5min), Victoria Park (10 min), Brick Lane, Broadway Market, Columbia Road and Genesis Cinema are all at walking distance. There is a really nice independent shop with packaging free groceries nearby and also two large supermarkets.

You will share with 2 friendly people: Katharina, a researcher working for a local authority who loves cycling along the canal to work, is involved with Amnesty, and practices non-violent communication. 
Johannes, a tech experience designer who plays the keyboard, travels often, and loves spending time chilling when there's a chance :) 

You will live in a peaceful, homely place where you will find comfort and interesting conversations, and also privacy as everyone is out a few times a week/busy with life :) We'd love to have someone who knows how to separate the recycling and contribute towards the upkeep of the house - bonus points of you like plants/gardening!

We're somewhat flexible in terms of how long you take the room for. The tenancy ends in May but we expect to be staying on after that. The rent for the room is £725, plus bills of just under £98.33 each incl. internet and council tax - and there's a deposit to pay (amount tbc). There is a risk the rent may increase slightly after May.
