This top (3rd) floor flat is on Bethnal Green Road, just 5 minutes walk from Bethnal Green Tube and Overground Rail Stations and within 15 minutes walk to Whitechapel station, Shoreditch High street, Brick Lane, Columbia Road and Broadway market. Beautiful Victoria park is also just a 20 min stroll away.

The flat itself is very spacious and, whilst not uber modern, is well maintained, with a large kitchen/dining room, large living room and good size bathroom with bath/shower. (Indoor Bike storage on 1st floor)

The room, like the rest of the flat is spacious, has good storage, and great views over Weavers Fields, and both Canary Wharf and the City skyline (nice from the rooftop too!). Despite the flat's location on Bethnal Green Rd, the room is quiet as it's on the back of the flat and has double glazed windows (like all other rooms)

If you work from home, there’s space for a desk in your room.

Bills (council tax band D, water, electricity, WiFi) have been in the region of £150 until now - taking the total monthly cost to £1,250. (Probably need to budget a little higher, just in case).

About myself:

Hi 🙂 I’m Heidi, 40 (OMG, I can't believe it myself!). My current flatmate is moving in with his girlfriend, and so here I am…

I enjoy a good balance of having chilled nights in, a friend over for dinner, and evenings out - no all nighters these days, but Friday nights can get a little bit longer occasionally 😉

I’m a pretty active person - a passionate tango dancer and keen yogi and pilates practitioner. I love to get out of the city from time to time, for a hike or trip somewhere on the weekends, and I look to go on a travel adventure whenever I can. In addition to English, I'm fluent in French and German, and I speak a bit of Spanish, too. I love learning languages! Beides, I love going to museums (I'm a member of the V&A) and galleries, concerts, markets (my favourite is Broadway Market), chilling out in parks or cafés.

I work full time in sales for a tech company - 100% from home, more specifically from the desk in my room. So during working hours, I need the flat to be reasonably quiet, no loud music, noise etc.

If you like a blend of casual social time in the flat as well as enjoying your own space - then I’m sure we’ll get along.

I’m a respectful flatmate and I treat this place as home - clean, tidy etc. For me, it's a bit of a refuge from busy, hectic London life. I’m looking for a flatmate who’d like something similar.

Please, be aware that this isn't for couples, so you shouldn't plan on having your partner living here part-time or more - you know what I mean.

Feel free to drop me a message, and we'll take it from there! Viewings are taking place on weekdays after 5.30pm, and on weekends (excluding the first May weekend).

I look forward to hearing from you 🙂

Heidi
