Double room in bethnal green available from 1st June. Rent is £775 and bills are about £75 per month. There is a £50 + VAT admin fee to put a new tenant on the contract which you’ll need to cover as well.

The tenancy runs until September 4th. There will be an option to renew for another year, which we did last summer.

The room is really big and bright. It comes with a double bed and wardrobe. I have furniture I have bought which I can sell if the next tenant would like this.

The flat is split over two floors. Downstairs there is a kitchen, a toilet, and large living area with a balcony. Upstairs are the four bedrooms and the one bathroom we all share. The water pressure is okay. We have a cleaning schedule in the flat so take turns once a month doing a deep clean.

The flat is just off Bethnal Green road. It’s about 3 minutes to the tube. You’re 15 minutes from Whitechapel where you can pick up lots of other tube lines. You’re also very close to Brick Lane, London Fields, Broadway Market, Victoria Park etc.

You’ll be living with three female professionals, one is a graphic designer, one is a bartender, and one works at the British Museum. Two are Aussies and one Brit.

Requirements : employment letter stating income or three months of payslips; 3 months of bank statements; landlord reference; passport; £721.50 deposit & £775 monthly rent.
