Cozy mezzanine double room in Bethnal Green

Hello! We are looking for a third flatmate for our flat in Bethnal Green. It’s an old warehouse vibe, so the bedroom does not have an external window, but the shared living space/kitchen has massive windows.

Location is fantastic - just 2 mins to to Bethnal Green tube station, 8 min walk to Bethnal Green overground, 12 min walk to Whitechapel, and lots of bus routes around. Tons of restaurants and pubs, as well as a Sainsbury’s local and a big Tesco Express.

The room has a really tall and spacious wardrobe, two chest of drawers, and a mezzanine-style bed. There’s more storage space in the hallway as well as in the bathroom. Tons of your own personal storage in the kitchen as well. We have a shared air fryer, pots and pans, etc., but whoever is moving in would have to be respectful of Alice’s celiac disease, so we really need to keep the kitchen clean!

About us: Flatmates Emma, who is 28, Irish, and a film critic. Alice is 25, English, and works in food procurement. Alice has been here 6 months, and Emma 2 years. We have a really nice vibe in the flat where we love to chat after the end of our day, watch films sometimes, but we very much respect each other’s space and understand basic flatmate etiquette. We are not a party house but we are open to friends coming over we just make sure we check with the house first.

We’re looking for someone in their mid to late 20s, professional, who works 9 to 5 or similar. We’re looking for someone who understands flatmate etiquette, is willing to contribute to household tasks without being asked, etc. We have a really nice chill atmosphere here where everyone does their part without being asked, so we want someone to continue that.
