Single room in Bethnal Green/Columbia Road offered

The room

Hi everyone,

We are Blanca and Michele, a Spanish and Italian professionals that live in Hackney Road by Columbia Road Market.

We have a furnished single room to offer to a nice person willing to live with us. The room is furnished. It has a double bed that could be eventually replaced for a single one to make a lot more space. A desk can also be fitted. Bills and internet are included.

Our flat is small but very cosy, no living room but a kitchen where we gather together. The bathroom is only shared with Blanca as Michele has its own bathroom ensuite.

I am social worker working in homelessness and Michele is a web developer. This is definitely not a party house, due to the space but we are friendly and love to catch up in the evening and establish a friendship. We are also very tidy and clean and would expect anyone living with us being the same.

We are looking for a male or female - don't really care - for ideally a short let of a few months who could potentially just have arrived to London or came to study/course/whatever. As mentioned In the room there is a double bed but it's not that spacious, and we could discuss it on how to arrange it differently, although there is a massive storage space in the flat.

We live just by Columbia Road Flower Market and very near Brick Lane and Broadway Market. Our local transport links are Hoxton, Old Street, Bethnal Green and Liverpool Street (all within walking distance).
Bike shed available as well. The location is really convenient and from here is easy to get everywhere around London due to the many connections and stations available. The area is also very nice, there are two supermarkets just meters away from the house and on a Sunday the area becomes lively due to the famous Columbia Flower Market.

So yes, we are mainly looking for a nice and chilled out person who would like to share our lovely flat with us two! Due to the COVID-19 situation we will need to chat first and then we could show you around.
