I’m looking for a roomie to join me on the lease for a great 2 bed, 1 bath flat in Blackheath/Greenwich.

👋 ABOUT ME:
I’m a 33yr old Australian living in London (been here about 6 months now!)

I work remotely 4 days a week as a brand strategist for a creative agency. I usually work from my bedroom and sometimes from a cafe.

I’m clean, friendly, and respectful of shared spaces and privacy. I love travelling, reading, writing, thrifting, cosy movie nights, pub trips, playing boardgames, and exploring the city.

I’m looking for a female house-mate with a similar vibe — respectful, friendly, tidy (all the usual stuff) — that’s sociable and down to hang out sometimes. I’d prefer to be more than just strangers passing each other in the hallway (movie nights, chatting while cooking, maybe heading to the pub sometimes) but I also enjoy my own space so no pressure to hang out all the time.

Not a party house but chill hangs / dinners / board game or movie nights are encouraged, if you fancy that sort of stuff!


🏠 ABOUT THE PLACE:
The landlords are super lovely and responsive (we deal directly with them) and there’s a bit of flexibility with move in date if you need it!
💰 Rent: £950 / month
+ £1000 deposit (into protected scheme).

💰 Bills: Roughly £138 / month, each.
- £166 council tax, band B
- £50-60 electricity & gas (might vary a little depending on usage)
- £53.26 water (fixed, not usage based)

A great size double room that comes with built-in wardrobes, bed & mattress, two large windows, and room for a desk.

Rest of the flat is furnished with all the essentials!

- Gets heaps of natural light.
- Well kept and cared for. The landlords lived in it for 10+ years so it’s designed to live in.
- The complex is gated so feels secure. Plus it’s set back inside the heath so the park is literally right on our doorstep 🥹🍃

Blackheath area is lovely and feels safe. Very quintessential London village vibes, with easy access to everything you need.

- 10min walk to Blackheath village for bookstores, independent shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, charity shops, Morrison’s Daily, Sunday farmer’s market etc.
- 10 min walk to Tesco superstore or a short bus ride (~6mins) to Lewisham for Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Lidl, Marks & Spencer, Boots, TK Maxx, and lots more.
- 15min walk to centre of Greenwich Park
- 19min walk to Greenwich market
