Double room in very central 2 bedroom flat

We are looking for a new housemate to move into a lovely double room in our extremely convenient, bright third-floor flat in the heart of Bloomsbury.

The flat is a furnished two-bed, one bathroom, with an open-plan kitchen-living space. There is also a washing machine-drier, gas hobs, a dishwasher, and a fridge-freezer. Outside your window is a blossoming tree.

1 min walk to Russell Square tube station (Piccadilly line), 10 min walk to King's Cross/St. Pancras or Euston stations.

The flat is directly opposite the Brunswick centre, which contains the largest Waitrose in Central London (and a small Sainsbury's), an NHS practice, cafes, restaurants, a post office, and a cinema. There is a produce stand downstairs and a number of gyms in the area, including one 20m from our front door (and yet we still find excuses).

There are numerous cafes, pubs, and bookshops on our road, as well as quite possibly the best pizza place in Central London just a minute's walk away! We can't really express how convenient the flat is! We walk almost everywhere and rarely need to take transport.

About us: Andreas is a PhD student and Meera is a professional working on environmental sustainability and climate change. We love to travel, go hiking, cook nice meals, watch films, go to the theatre, enjoy a bottle of full-bodied red wine, keep fit and active, attempt to keep a windowsill herb garden alive, and explore new cities. Andreas also loves photography and Meera loves dancing.

We like to keep our shared space clean and are a sustainable household; so, you'll need to be on your materials and food waste recycling game. We love a good intellectual debate and hosting a nice dinner party from time to time, along with spontaneous musical jam sessions in the flat with you, should you be keen. We take our work seriously, but we also enjoy a relaxed, fun, social atmosphere and hope you feel the same.
