Fully furnished tranquil apartment and room with lots of natural light throughout, centrally located in Bloomsbury (zone 1).

Looking for a flat mate to join me in this 2-bedroom apartment, which was completely refurbished 3.5 years ago.

Note: Move-in date is flexible. Rent includes all bills, including a cleaner every 2-weeks.

About you
Preference for a working professional with a standard Mon-Fri job. Somebody who is (genuinely) clean and tidy, respectful, polite and courteous. Ideally somebody who likes to share the occasional meal or drink together but also respects independence.

The bedroom
Double room with a large mirrored wardrobe with internal drawers and belt / tie racks. The bed comes with a very comfortable mattress with a headboard and ottoman bed base that lifts for plenty of storage space underneath. Bedding and pillows provided. Beside drawers, lamp, laundry basket and a shoe rack. The bedroom overlooks a square/park.

The apartment
The apartment is located on the top floor of a four-story walk-up building (no elevator).

The kitchen opens up to the balcony and has a large fridge / freezer, oven, induction hob stove, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. All appliances are basically brand new.

The balcony overlooks a park/square and is connected to a fire escape. During the warmer months we tend to have drinks on the fire escape with the friendly neighbours. It really is a great place to live!

The living room has a comfortable sofa and ottoman, leather arm chair, side table and lamps, and a wall-mounted plasma TV. There is also a small dining table.

The shared bathroom has a full-sized bath tub with an overhead shower, and heated towel railings.

Wooden flooring and central heating throughout the entire apartment. New double-glazed windows recently installed in every room.

We have a great landlady who owns all 9 apartments in the building. There is a handyman onsite everyday – any issues with the apartment are usually resolved within 24 hours.

The neighbourhood
The apartment is 5-minutes’ walk to Holborn and Russell Square tubes, amongst many others. Short walk to the Brunswick centre (shops and cinema), British Museum, Covent Garden, Soho, Oxford St, Fitzrovia, Marylebone, Clerkenwell, Kings Cross, Angel… the list goes on. Right near Lamb’s Conduit Street – great for cafes, book shop, wine bar, clothing etc. Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose all 5 minutes’ walk away. Despite the central location, the apartment is quietly situated with the added benefit of being on the top floor.

About me (your flat mate)
I’m a friendly 35-year-old male, gay, originally from Australia. Good sense of humour 😊 I’ve lived in London 7 years and 4 of those years in this apartment. I’m a management consultant and currently working from home. I enjoy travelling, gym, hanging out with friends, cinema and theatre. Note: This is not a party household.
