My current roommate is moving out to live with her partner, so I’m looking for someone lovely to move in at the end of April to share a beautiful flat with me in the heart of Bloomsbury.

The Location 📍
The flat is situated just a short stroll from the British Museum and comes with private access to the gorgeous Bedford Square Garden 🪴, which is such a little hidden gem in central London. It’s about a five to seven minute walk to M&S, Sainsbury’s, Superdrug and an Odeon, and it’s right next to Store Street, which is full of beautiful cafés and little shops.

The Flat 🏡
It’s a two bedroom girly flat with a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room, as well as some additional storage space. The room comes fully furnished with a built-in cupboard, a chest of drawers, lovely shelving, and a small double bed with storage underneath, so you can easily make it your own with decorations and personal touches. I work from home once a week, and there is a desk in the living room if you also work from home from time to time.

A Bit About Me 🌸
I’m originally from Cape Town and work at a law firm in central London. I love being active and enjoy things like going to the gym, surfing (a very typical Capetonian activity 🏄🏽‍♀️), hiking, and travelling whenever I get the chance. I also enjoy getting creative and enjoy playing piano, painting, cooking, and doing plenty of self-care 🧖🏽‍♀️. Socially, I enjoy going to pubs or nights out with friends, having cosy movie nights, hosting dinners, or taking the occasional day trip to Brighton.

The Ideal Roommate 💌
I really respect this flat as if it were my own home, so I’m looking for someone who will treat the space with the same care. I’m quite clean and organised and prefer the communal areas to stay tidy, as it makes the flat feel cosy, respectful and calm. Ideally I’d love to live with someone who could also become a friend, where we can spend the occasional evening watching rom-coms on the couch with snackies, host dinners with friends, go for a drink at a pub together, or rant and laugh over a glass of vino. At the same time, I also think it’s important that we respect each other’s space and alone time, especially after a long day or week at work.
