Bloomsbury, Large Room, £720pcm Bills Included

Flatmate wanted from the 1st September! Preferably a student, for a large room in a clean and quiet Georgian flat in central London, right by UCL and Senate House Library (and just a 15-20 minute walk to LSE and the Strand campus of KCL). The room costs £720 per calendar month including bills, and you would be sharing the flat with two other people (one guy, one girl) who are a postgrad student and a recent graduate looking to start further study soon. We are both very friendly and sociable people, though not too loud, and we’re not a party flat so someone similar to this would work well! The room comes furnished and has a large storage cupboard.

The room unfortunately was previously a living room which means that to reach the kitchen we must go through a corner of the room. There is therefore a large wooden screen/partition which creates a corridor from the door of the room to the kitchen so that the other flatmates cannot see into your room when they go to the kitchen. In addition to this, we always try to be respectful of this fact by not going to the kitchen late at night and by being careful not to be noisy there - this set up has worked well in previous years. The benefits outweigh this as the room is big for central London, very clean (recently repainted and had new carpet put in) and since your other flatmates will often be out for work and study it is like having your own little studio flat, as well as of course the incredibly central location of the flat.
