Double room: Light, neutral room available to rent in a quiet end-of-terrace house on a pedestrianised street. Spacious and lots of storage: floor to ceiling fitted wardrobe, shelves, comfortable bed, table and chair.
(Bed linen and towels can be provided and laundered weekly and belongings can be left over the weekend)

Shared with me:
Modern kitchen (with 5-gas hob and double oven, microwave, large fridge-freezer, washing machine) and good-sized living/dining room which gives onto a walled patio garden.

Bathroom with shower and bath.

Broadband wifi

Transport: a hub for easy transport to the whole of London. Very well connected to Bakerloo, Northern and Jubilee - 5 mins' walk to Borough and Elephant & Castle tube/mainline station, 10 mins' Southwark tube, London Bridge and Waterloo and Waterloo East stations. Buses to all London. Street parking available with permit (application needs to be made to council)
Boris bikes in next street and on bike highway route.

All the entertainments of the Southbank, theatres, BFI, restaurants, bars, galleries, Tate Modern, Borough Market, Bermonsey St and the new White Cube, the river etc. all within easy walking distance. Mercato Metropolitano is in the next block with brewery, heaps of different reasonably-priced food options and deli. Useful local shops including green grocers', great cafe, newsagents in next street and Co-op 1 min away open 8-11pm. 24 hr Gym 5 mins. Nice local pubs and restaurants close by. In fact, you can avoid alot of public transport by walking as it's so central.

I'm looking for a considerate, honest person to share with. I'm an artist, but I have a studio, which is not in the house, and a job so I'm out and about a lot. I'm fairly laid back and used to sharing. My current housemate is moving out because she's bought a place.
