Findlay House has now been my home for some time now and I now find myself with a lovely spare room on my hands. The flat very much is my home and I’m a great believer of having a good environment to surround myself in.

The flat is a modern new build which is just over 10 years old and is conveniently located 5 mins away from Bow Road Station and 3 mins away from Bow Church DLR. One of the greatest elements of the flat is its location. Bow Road features the Hammersmith & City Line as well as the District. Heading one stop (Westbound) to Mile End you can also pick up the Central Line.

Bow Church DLR conveniently is less than 10 mins journey to Stratford which houses national rail links as well as Westfield shopping centre. Heading south bound via Bow Church takes you directly to Canary Wharf – Less than 15 mins from the Flat. The property would be ideal for a Canary Wharf/City worker as its less than 20 mins to both locations.

The property itself is located on the ground floor and is accessed by a fob entry system. The property is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom set-up, with a shared kitchen/lounge. The benefit of being ground floor is that I have a terrace that is the length of the flat, so for a central location there is a fair bit of outside space if that’s important to you.

Specifics:

Your Room:

A double and will come furnished (double bed, mattress and drawers) Upon my old flatmate leaving, I decided to give the room a lick of paint, so its in the best possible condition, all painted, carpets cleaned and new furniture!

The room is bright and well equipped and features a decent sized built-in wardrobe and an en-suite. The en-suite is accessed via a sliding door and features a heated towel rail, shower, basin and WC. If its easier for you, I can provide towels and bedding – this is totally up to you. The room has a large window which can be fully opened and also includes black out style blind.

Lounge/Kitchen:

A good size lounge/kitchen which is very bright and airy. The kitchen features a dishwasher, microwave/oven combi, electric hob and a large fridge/freezer. All of the kitchen utensils etc will be available for you to use.

The lounge has a large 42 inch TV with SkyQ (movies) which again, you’re more than welcome to use. The lounge also features access to the terrace.

The rest of the flat compromises of my room and my bathroom. Also, off the hall there is a very small utility room which features a washer dryer for you to use. The hallway includes the central heating controls and video entry system.

A bit about the flat and me…

I’d like to think the flat has a homely and pleasant feel to it. I’m looking for someone that really likes to chill post work and enjoys a nicer set-up to their living environment.

I like the flat to feel lived in but not messy, its my home and not just a base so I like it to reflect that.

I like to keep myself quite busy and also enjoy exploring London. Originally I’m from the country so also quite like escaping back to it now and again.

I work in marketing and tend to mix up my weeks with being sociable or doing absolutely nothing post work. If it is nothing, then I’m back at the flat and usually chilling in the lounge watching some questionable TV. I’d hope you’d be similar and be up for watching the odd show together or just be up for having a bit of a chat in the kitchen while I sink another cup of tea. I've actually as of Sep 22 started a new role which means I'm 100% home based now with work - with some occasional out of London travel.

I quite like an evening after work to be chilled so it'd be nice to have someone to hang out with in the lounge. Not really after someone who sits in their room all the time.

I expect you to be a professional that appreciates a nicer set up and has a good sense of humor. As its just me in the flat it would be cool to have someone to mosey to the pub with now and again.

Oh, I've put no parking as I don't have a space but I think if you contact Tower Hamlets you could find out about road parking.

Thanks,

Tris

PS: I think Mid Nov would be ideal for me as the current tenant is moving out and there is some slight remedial work to the ensuite that needs to be done. Anyway, drop me a note and we can chat and work all that out! :)
