Spacious Double room near Brixton station

We have a double room in a lovely, spacious house in Brixton available for someone to move into at the end of this month, so as soon as possible!.

The room comes with a double bed and plenty of wardrobe / storage space. The house itself has a kitchen / diner and a separate lounge, it's a really great sized space for 3 people. We also have a medium sized garden, which is great in the summer for bbq's and the like.

It's located an 5min walk from Brixton underground, with Herne Hill station equidistant in the opposite direction. There's a bus stop at the end of the road which takes you to Peckham in 15mins or plenty of buses going the other way toward Brixton and central London.

There's also a large Sainsbury's about 1min away and lots of pubs (inc. the Hootananny), cafes etc. very close-by.

We're off the main road down a quiet street so minimal noise from our surroundings despite being close to the action.

Currently in the house are Alfie and El, both of us work in central London (Alfie in fashion, El in music) & enjoy hanging out and catching up in the evenings but equally have our own lives and are out and about during the week. There's a real nice, friendly vibe to the house & we're looking for someone who fits into that.

Bills come to £140 a month (each) which includes everything + a cleaner who comes bi-weekly. We have direct contact with the landlord who's really sound and responsive / speedy on the rare occasion we need something.
