Elegant room in heart of Brixton

Hi there,

I co-own this flat with a couple of friends. We all met at uni and this was our home for quite a few years before we’ve gone our separate ways.

We are in the process of selling the flat but are unsure exactly when this will happen. My current tenant is leaving on May 10th and I’d love to find someone to stay in the room starting then, with a flexible move-out date. We’d give at least a month’s notice. My best guess is that we’ll need at least another 3 months to get a sale over the line, if not longer.

It’s a bit of an awkward in-between time, so appreciate this might not be for everyone, but happy to negotiate on price depending on level of flexibility.

The room itself has just recently been completely done up including a built in wardrobe with drawers, a hanging rail and some shelves. There is also a desk that offers an ideal space for someone working from home, although everyone is also welcome to work from the living room.

The communal spaces are modern, spacious and we like to take good care of it :) You're more than welcome to bring your own touch to the space, but we normally make decisions about decor together.

In terms of space there is some storage, but probably not enough for someone with lots and lots of stuff. The space would suit a minimalist ;)

Weekday evenings tend to be on the quieter side and we all respect each other’s need to keep the noise down when necessary.

There's bike storage downstairs and a large patio for workouts, as well as a balcony.
