Clapham Apartment near Brixton Hill

A double room in a beautiful apartment. Newly refurbished.

There are lovely gardens to enjoy. The road is quiet and the area peaceful. Yet close to both Clapham Common, and Brixton. Brockwell Park and Balham Common are near.

I live here too, you would be a lodger. If you are in a relationship, your partner can stay 2-3 nights at a time for free of course. I am a creative individual, my home is warm and cosy. Pets would be considered, though I have no pets myself.

The apartment is TV licenced, internet access is included too, with strong WiFi. Separate are council tax (band C, £78 per person), electricity and gas, which will be billed at the end of each month and shared in half. I most of the cold months I have the heating on for two hours in the mornings, and three hours in the evenings and with double glazing and warm LED lighting, energy bills are low.

A bit about me. I am in my 30s, and have a graduate degree so someone similar, who recycles, and is relatively clean (and a non-smoker) would be ideal. I am open to all people, so do enquire! You'll have your privacy and freedom of course, I am not intrusive.

Your room comes with a television, DVD player, WiFi, and you can use the kitchen. I include bedsheets, you can use the washing machine of course, and your room includes a black out blind - which makes it easy to sleep.

Included in the rent:
- Internet: (fast Wifi, ethernet cable can be used too)

- TV licence

So the total cost for bills if you if one lodger, is estimated at £159 [£77 + £83] per month on average. (Less in the summer, more in winter). I use Ecotricity, the green renewable energy supplier.

So for the next 6 months, this will likely be around more like £90 per month, with the summer coming up.

There is free car parking and cycle store too included.

The room has a table in you can work on, it's private cosy and a great place to be.

South facing, so summer sun comes in, but the room has a great black out blind for a great night's sleep.
