We’re urgently looking for a new flatmate to join our five-bedroom house in Brixton / Herne Hill.
We’re four women, working professionals between 24 and 31, and the house has become something of a proper home, we host dinners occasionally, have opinions about bread, and our viewing habits run from The Crown to Vanderpump Rules without apology. We’re looking for someone who understands the difference between a social house and a party house, and prefers the former.
The room is an en suite on the top floor- light, with enough space to make your own. There’s a communal bathroom on the floor below as well.
Downstairs there’s a sitting room and a dining space we actually use, a shared kitchen, and a garden. There’s also a small cellar, which we use for wine and suitcases, in roughly equal measure.
Location: thirteen minutes’ walk from Brixton tube, five minutes from Brockwell Park, twenty from Herne Hill station, twenty-five from Clapham North. Convenient without being hectic.
Rent: £975 plus bills (approximately £130-150 per person). A cleaner comes fortnightly. Deposit is £1250.
We’re looking to fill the room by the 2nd of March- ideally sooner. Viewings on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th of February. The tenancy is with Foxtons, so you need to be a full-time employee, and be able to pass referencing.
If this sounds like your kind of house, drop me a message.
