We’re looking for a friendly, tidy new housemate to join our relaxed, sociable, LGBT+ friendly home just a short walk from Brixton Station and all the great things the area has to offer.

• Good sized double room on the 1st floor of the house
• Comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, and desk
• Quiet, overlooks the garden

🏡 The House
• 4 bed Victorian terrace on a quiet residential street
• Spacious living room and dining room
• Separate kitchen-diner with plenty of storage
• Two bathrooms + another downstairs toilet
• Lovely South-facing private garden; ideal for summer BBQs & convenient bike storage

👥 Housemates
You’ll be sharing with 4 professionals/creatives in their late 20s and 30s. A mix of homebodies and on-the-goers but we love coming together over meals, movie nights, etc.
All genuinely friendly, respectful, and reasonable people! We are a mix of vegans and omnivores, early birds and night owls. See short bios at the end.

We love socialising and hosting but we’re not a party party house; think wholesome safe haven among the London madness.

🖊️ The available room is directly above the living room/next to Cara & Scotty’s room where they practice their music sometimes but always at reasonable hours.

We do not have a cleaner, preferring to look after the house ourselves with a cleaning rota. And our private landlord is an absolute gem, very reasonable and accessible for bigger / important things.

• 12–15 min walk to Brixton tube (Victoria line), Brixton Village, cafés, bars
• 10 min walk to Brockwell Park (and the local ParkRun)
• Ample on-street parking available with permit (not included)

🧩 Who We’re Looking For
A working professional/creative who is considerate, clean, house-trained, and easy to communicate with. No couples, sorry. Must be LGBT+ friendly.

Scotty (they/them) is a musician/painter and works at a gallery. A good laugh and a good chat keeps them happy.

Cara & Scotty are a queer couple and head chefs of any communal meal.

Joss (she/her) is a civil servant working in climate change. Obsessed with handstands & tiramisu. A driven do-er, up for most things.

Kwame (he/him) is a generous & community-orientated gem. Self-employed web developer who mostly works from home but gives a lot of his time to acroyoga. Surprisingly flexible for a gentle giant.
