Double room in 2-bed flat 5mins from Brixton tube

My flatmate is sadly moving out of our 2-bed home in Brixton, so I’m looking for someone to take the second room.

About the flat

It’s a lower ground floor flat with a huge private garden, shared living room and one bathroom. The room is spacious and comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table, with plenty of space for additional furniture if needed (e. g. a desk — though you’re also welcome to share the one in the living room).

The garden is definitely the highlight of the flat and great in the summer — perfect for relaxing outside or the occasional BBQ.

The flat is about a 5-minute walk to Brixton tube station and Brixton Village, with loads of great food spots, cafés and shops nearby. Brockwell Park is also within easy walking distance.

About me

I’m a professional in my late 20s working mostly from home. I’m tidy, responsible and enjoy keeping the flat a calm and comfortable space.

I like a friendly household where we can chat, cook together occasionally or share a drink, but also respect each other’s space and independence. It’s not a party flat, though I do have friends over from time to time — usually small groups and the occasional summer BBQ in the garden.

Outside work I like going to the gym, reading, gardening and spending time with friends. I also enjoy DIY projects and furniture restoration so you may occasionally spot a piece of furniture being worked on in the garden! The flat is smoke-free indoors though I do smoke occasionally outside in the garden.

Looking for

Someone who is tidy, considerate and easy to live with. Ideally another professional who enjoys a comfortable, well-kept place and treats it like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
