The flat is located 5 minutes' walk from Brixton tube station and just around the corner from Brixton Market, which has lots of lively bars and cool restaurants. We live 20 minutes' walk to Brockwell Park and about 25 minutes' walk to Clapham Common.

The flat is modern, very clean and nicely decorated with a large, spacious living-room/kitchen with extending dining table and a winter balcony (perfect for all seasons!) overlooking Max Roach park. There is ample storage with a large double storage cupboard in the hallway, a utility room and a bike racks storage at the bottom of the building (residents' key fob access only so very secure).

The room is a big, airy double bedroom with HUGE wall to wall fitted wardrobes and a chest of drawers. You will have your own private ensuite bathroom with shower, shelves and loo.

I'm originally from Dorset, went to university in Birmingham and Paris and have lived in London for 6 years now. I've lived in this flat for the past year with the landlady and my now friend, Elly, and Jay has lived here with us too during the whatever number lockdowns. I'm a Tax lawyer (boring, I know) and work in the City, although mainly from home over the last year. I'd like to think I'm not as beige as my job and love the beach, exploring London and further afield, the cinema, eating/drinking out, going to the gym and playing softball to counteract that and anything to do with art and fashion.

Jay is originally from Tasmania and after travelling Europe for 6 months, has settled in London for the past 2 years. He is a PE teacher and obsessed with all things sports. He goes into school for work every day and trains with Australian Rules Football and Gaelic Football teams Monday to Thursday evenings so is often out and about. When he isn't doing something active, he loves the pub, travelling and going to the cinema.

We're used to sharing with Elly so very respectful of other people's own space and we're often out at the weekends. That said (and as everyone says on here), we also enjoy having a sofa debrief, cooking or grabbing a drink out all together. Elly owns the place but she's very relaxed and always told us to treat it as if it is ours, have our friends over etc, - we want to keep that going when she moves out!

We're keen to live with somebody likeminded and laidback.
