Double Room *on* Broadway Market 🙌

We are a couple who (well, Bella at least) has lived here for three years already and absolutely loves it, and we are looking for a third person (unfortunately no couples) to come join us from January the 21st 2020.

🛏 The Room:

Is a humongous double. Seriously huge. The other bedroom is the same size and fits (comfortably) a double bed, wardrobe, two desks, sofa and coffee table. *That* huge. The exciting part is that the room is being renovated in between the current tenants moving out and you moving in. This means brand new carpet, all walls treated and re-painted and any other loose ends tied up. The room has beautiful sash windows overlooking the market, and on a summer's day, a dream to open up wide and listen to the buskers playing outside the Dove.

🏡 The Flat:

Two bedrooms and one shared bathroom - with a bath! In London! Imagine.
We’ve got a decent-sized kitchen/dining/living space which we successfully share and keep tidy. Fridge, freezer, washing machine, oven and gas hobs… even a coffee machine. We have a cleaner who comes every fortnight to keep the shared spaces shiny.

The flat is managed by a letting agent but our landlord lives locally and is usually our first point of contact. He’s friendly, fair, and he wants to keep the house nice, to everyone’s benefit (hence the spruce happening to your room).

The place is on the second floor, so while it’s easy to come downstairs to where the action is, the hubbub isn’t up in your face unless you want it to be.

📋 Bills

Bills, including tv license, internet, council tax, electricity, gas, water and cleaner, come to around £85 per month extra.

📍 The Area:

Broadway Market, the Jewel of the East! Whoever moves in in Jan will be in time to see spring grace:

-London Fields, (2 mins walk, amazing for summer BBQs)
-Victoria Park (10 mins walk)
-Regents Canal (30 secs walk)
-London Fields Lido (8 mins walk. Beat the crowds!)
-The actual market, every Saturday.
-More nice pubs, cafes and athleisure than you can shake a stick at. Stretch yoga studio, a mere avocado stone’s throw away.

…also, transport links are really quite good. 15 mins from Bethnal Green on the Central Line, 10 mins from London Fields on one overground line, and 15 from Haggerston on the other overground line. Plus lots of good bus routes to Shoreditch, Liverpool St, London Bridge and beyond.

Us - and You?

If you've managed to get this far in the ad then I can tell we're going to get along. I (Bella) have lived in this flat for three years with some pretty wonderful flatmates and we've always been united by our common goals of looking after each other and attempting to keep our houseplants alive. My boyfriend Tom is now moving in and that goal still stays the same! I'm hoping you will like to share the occasional meal, or glass of wine and if you sign for my ASOS parcels, I'll sign for yours.

Bella works in sales in the drinks industry and her interests include reading the Guardian Blind Date's column, running in vicky park and going feral at festivals. Tom is a DJ/cook, but will be going back into education in the not so distant future. He enjoys thinking about running and likes to indulge in music, food, beer, film and video games - all the good stuff. Tom and Bella promise to not be a shit couple to live with, and will not make this an awkward third wheel thing.

Despite our professions and hobbies this is not a party-party household, it's more of a getting-slightly-pissed-whilst -cooking-a-Sunday-roast-with-f riends rather than "EVERYONE at the Dove, come back to ours". We like our home, and we like it being pretty clean and tidy.

VIEWINGS (the last section, I promise).

Christmas is coming, and so we are hoping to find the right person, get the papers signed and the deposit deposited all before Christmas.
