UNUSUAL SITUATION - FLEXIBLE SHORT TERM LET
At this time I can only commit to one month from 12th September with flexible weeky after that.
I am a foster carer and I am going to be between placements. I could wait one week or months for a new suitable foster child! This means that I can only take in a lodger who is able to leave at a week's notice after 12th October. You could potentially stay for months but you would always need a back up plan. This is because I cannot have a lodger in the house who does not have an enhanced DBS check.
Our house overlooks the wonderful Hilly Fields Park which is ideal if you love running, tennis, sports or picnicking. There are no nearby parking restrictions and you may store a bike.
It is generally a very quiet house but you can make as much noise as you like - we won't hear you! It would really suit someone who has lots of outside interests and friends or who is very happy with their own company as we are friendly and easy going but not very available for trips to the pub etc - the gym or walks yes! Your friends / family would be welcome here as I'd like you to feel it was your home whilst you lived here.
I don't have photos of the bedroom at the moment as my daughter is still living in the room - very very messily! We have a large kitchen / diner, a downstairs toilet. Upstairs -bath/shower/toilet. If you want to chat then come to the dining room.
We have excellent transport routes. Brockley station (about a 10 minute walk) has trains running to London Bridge and the Overland service to Highbury and Islington via Canada water. Crofton Park station, Ladywell and St John’s (Lewisham) also all less than a 15 minute walk. Lewisham swimming / leisure centre less than 15 min walk. Lots of cafes / bars / restaurants nearby. Walking distance to Goldsmiths - or hop on the bus! Our garden is a lovely sun trap on summer evenings.
This is a very easy going household. We do ‘difference’ very well so ‘differently abled’ people from all backgrounds are most welcome in our home.
