Lovely, double room with kingsize bed available Monday to Friday only. Bedding and towels provided. Length of stay negotiable. One month minimum.

Our current housemates' time in London is coming to an end so we're looking for a new person or couple. (We like to have friends and family come and stay in the weekend sometimes, hence the Monday to Friday).

About the room:
The room is at the quiet end of the house, with a window facing the garden. The bathroom is right next door. There is a king-size bed (with super comfy memory foam mattress), two reading lights, full-length mirror, and a small wardrobe with hanging space and some drawers. We'll provide sheets, duvet, pillows and towels.

About the flat:
The flat is on the ground floor in a beautiful Victorian conversion with high ceilings, lots of natural light and original details. The shared spaces are:
- Kitchen - all the usual things you'd expect + dishwasher + washing machine + tumble dryer. If you like to cook we'll make space for you in the fridge and cupboard. You're welcome to use our herbs, spices, oils, etc - we have a huge collection
- Bathroom - tub with overhead shower. We'll keep a shelf free for you in the cabinet
- Lounge / dining room
- Giant garden
-We have a lovely cleaner who comes once a week

The second bedroom (our room) is above the kitchen and there is also a study that we use to work from home sometimes.

About the area:
There's loads of supermarkets, bars, restaurants, cafes and shops in Camberwell. And loads going on. But our street (Paulet Road) is also nice and quiet. It's only a couple of minutes walk to Myatt's Field Park for some green space.

Transport:
- 10 mins walk to Loughborough junction (from there trains take 10 mins to Blackfriars, 13 mins to Farringdon)
- 15-20 mins walk to Oval, Brixton and Stockwell tube (For the Victoria and Northern Line)
- Easy, frequent bus links

About us:
We're a couple (Gen and Mel) and recently bought this flat. Gen is a manager at a consultancy focused on tackling social issues in the UK. Mel is an academic, who researches humanitarian journalism and the coverage of Africa. We like to cook, read, sit with a glass of wine, moan about politics and watch terrible shows on Netflix.

About the cats:
We have a 2-year old cat (Manuka) and a 6 month old kitten (Maple). The kitten is super cute but of course, kittens can sometimes a bit annoying so it's important that whoever moves in really loves cats!

Who we're looking for:
We sometimes work from home so would like someone who will be out during the day. We're looking for someone friendly who likes cats. :)

Costs:
The room is £550 a month. Bills are an extra £10 a week. That includes all electricity, wifi and a cleaner who comes weekly. Couple are welcome to take the room, but we ask for £20 a week towards bills.
