Double Room in Camberwell Zone 2

Hello weary traveller and welcome to our Spareroom Ad!

Our flatmate (and Live-in Landlord A) Channing is moving out next month so his awesome room is going to be available from 24 October 2022 in our nice 3 bedroom flatshare in Camberwell. Rent is £800 a month and bills are £150 and the contract is open ended.

About the Flat & Room:

Feast your eyes on our slick promotional video we made for one of the other rooms in 2020 during the pandemic.

The whole flat is fully furnished and the room comes with a bed, mattress and desk.

It is a ground floor flat with large communal lounge, bathroom, extra toilet, modern kitchen and balcony. It also has cheap parking.

You will be sharing with me, Oran (live-in landlord B) and Sarah. One of us works in events, the other in energy. We are easy going, up for a bit of a laugh, and because it's mine and Channing's place we sort stuff out quickly.

About the Area:

Camberwell is a gem of South London, off the beaten path of Peckham and Brixton, but still with a great selection of independent and highly rated restaurants, cafes, gastropubs and Craft Beer pubs. Multiple Gyms and free leisure centre gym and pool nearby. Burgess Park is on the doorstep (5 minute walk). 17 minute walk to Oval station or 10 minute bus to Elephant & Castle Station. Door to Door to Oxford Street is 35 minutes.

Money stuff:

The rent is £800/month plus £150/month for all bills and true fibre broadband (fibre to property baby!) meaning 50Mbps download and 50Mbs upload speeds. If you work from home then there is a £6/week bill surcharge.

It's an open ended sublet/lodger arrangement, minimum 3 months initially and then a nice flexible rolling contract after with a 1 month notice period.

About You:
- Yes to nice sociable people who know how to live with other adults
- Yes to getting involved in communal shopping and cooking. If it's in the kitchen, it's fair game
- Yes to clean people, we don't want to live like students!

No to Pets - allergy and hygiene reasons
No to Xenophobia / Intolerance / V-necks

And on this occasion we are only seeking guys aged 30+ to view the room as 2 guys and 1 girl has been the ideal mix for our flat so far!
