Hello! We are Jack and Joaquin, and we are searching for a new housemate to join our charming 3-bedroom home in Camberwell.
Room Details:
- Rent: 850 per month + bills (approximately £125 per month). Deposit is 846.
- Contract: Tenancy starts 11-March (though thereis some flexibility to move in earlier). We are checking the contract details with the landlady but are expecting a 6-month minimum contract.
- Description: Ample double room with garden view in the first floor. Most of the furniture is included (though some is owned by the current tenant)
- Amenities: Fully equipped kitchen-dining room, living room, bathroom (shared by all three of us) and a garden (which will need some post winter tiding up, we generally do this every spring)
Transport: 10-minute walk to Loughborough Junction station; 20-minute walk to Brixton, Stockwell, and Oval Tube stations. Bus stops within a 10-minute walk, reaching central and south London in about 30 minutes. If you are brave enough to cycle, only 15-20 mins away from central London (source: Joaquin).
What We’re Looking For:
- Age: 27-35 years old, all gender identities welcome.
- Occupation: Full-time professional, open to in office to fully remote.
- We maintain a tidy home and expect everyone to do their part to keep it that way! No cleaning rota, but we value cleanliness and respect.
- We are not a party house but enjoy a social environment. We lead busy lives and mostly have our own social plans. While we do use the house to relax with friends, we also respect each other’s space and privacy.
About Us/What We Offer:
- Joaquin (32): Originally from Chile, works in energy consulting. Spends too much money on gigs, may or may not have a very dark sense of humor and is known for never staying in the country during a bank holiday.
- Jack: WIP.
- LGBTQ+ friendly.
- Beautiful large garden (unusual for London!)– while we're not gardening experts, we’d love some help in maintaining it! It does need some spring work, but we do this every year.
- Friendly, responsive landlord.
