Hi there,

Our flatmate Caleb is moving in with his boyfriend (it's bittersweet), so we have a room available in our ground floor flat in Camden/Kentish Town.

LOCATION
The flat is on Kentish Town Road, very close to Northern Line (Camden Town) and Camden Road Overground. There are also a thousand places to eat/drink, and Hampstead Heath, Primrose Hill and Regents Park are all close if you like grass and trees. The flat is at the back of a property so it is sheltered from the noise of the road. The windows look out on a restaurant garden of a lovely Pan-Asian restaurant (very nice food). We have frosting/net curtains on parts of the windows (see pics), though you can still see people when they are using the garden in the summer. There is a general buzz and also music. They are open at 4pm Monday through Thursday and at lunchtime on Fridays and weekends, closes by 11.

PEOPLE
You will be living with Bethany a charity worker, Mark a civil servant, and Sandrine a structural engineer, who also has a knack for fixing up the place) all working from home slightly over half the time. We are a tidy, relaxed, friendly bunch, enjoy hanging out and having drinks (or a jam - if sociable hours/not annoying anyone), and also crash in our rooms a fair amount of the time.

THE ROOM/FLAT
The room has a full double bed, chest of draws and large built in wardrobe. The landlady is also very helpful if you want to swap any other things out. Also to mention that like most places, there can be mould in the winter that may require staying on top of. This room seems to fair better than ours though!

We have two bathrooms (two showers one with a bath), kitchen/living room (with a TV, sofa, washer, dryer, and all the kitchen equipment you might need). We also have a hallway for shoes, plants and hanging out washing.

OTHER BITS
Our landlady mentioned some potential works to the roof. This may or may not happen though if it does it would be spring/summer next year and it probably mean we need to move to out. We would have at least two months notice though ahead of time.

The deposit is one months rent, then a month in advance. and the rent includes water and council tax. On other bills gas £10 to £20 per person per month depending on time of year, and electric £25 to £45. Internet will be £8 per month
