Bright double bedroom in peaceful Canada Water

The room is in a spacious three-bedroom house in a quiet cul-de-sac, five minutes’ walk from Canada Water tube station and ten minutes from a giant Tesco.
It’s in a very convenient location: Canada Water is well-connected to the City, Westminster and Canary Wharf via the Jubilee line, and to East and South London via the Overground. Regular buses stop at the end of the road. Most of central London can be reached by bike in under thirty minutes, and we have an allocated (currently unused!) parking space if you’d like to drive. Southwark Park, Bermondsey, Rotherhithe and the riverbank are all close by.

The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms (plus a toilet on the ground floor), a large living/dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen and a garden with a shed for bicycles. The bedroom itself is front-facing and bright; it’s unfurnished apart from the double bed and curtains, but I am happy to negotiate sale of the wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table to the new tenant – these provide plenty of storage space. You would be sharing the main bathroom with one other (tidy and conscientious!) housemate.

The rent does not include utility bills. Broadband, council tax and water total £54/month, with energy varying depending on the time of year.

The current occupants are two lovely young professionals, Maddy and Miriam, who’ve been living here for three years and a couple of months respectively – you will be taking my spot in the house.
