The adventure of finding a short term housemate at short notice.

The room itself is £800pcm.
Monthly bills are up to approx. £180pcm.
*inclusive of fortnightly cleaner, insurance, high speed internet

Quick Summary: 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, large kitchen and living room areas, with private garden.

We're a queer mixed friendly household, in our 5th year at the house. We're Bane (English, pan cis-male) doing the eclectic mix of roles around events and entertainment, stilt walking, arts and general mischief; Jean (French, gay cis-male) is a French-cliche, sans cooking skills, working front of house through the week; then the real selling point, Fritz (7) our awesome little friendly neutered Tabby cat.

Our current housemate has been offered a one bedroom flat with his girlfriend and the opportunity is too good to miss, unfortunately this leaves us looking to find a housemate to take over the room for a 1-4 month period, before our planned 3rd housemate moves in later this year (dates TBC around mutual availability). We're keen to find people with a similar energy and hoping you could potentially be the ideal to fit in with our home?

The Room: 4.1m x 2.7m, is rear facing on the first floor, overlooking the garden. The bedroom is currently unfurnished.

The House: is a 2-level maisonette on the ground and first floor of the building. We have our own private garden, entry and rear garden, with secure side gate entry. All the rooms are of a good size; with plants of varying success throughout the:
• Entry/hallway.
• Shower Room/WC - with a large enclosure shower.
• Huge lounge/dining area - with L-shaped sofa, Nintendo Switch Dock, bluetooth speaker, hue lighting and plenty of room for secure bike storage.
• Kitchen - Well fitted with lots of cupboard space and new appliances, fridge/freezer, gas hob, fan assisted oven/grill, Instant Pot, Health grill (meat use), Sodastream, Microwave oven, kettle, Nespresso, dishwasher and washing machine.
• Bathroom/WC - large bathroom with bath and wash area.
• Balcony - small balcony/sun trap facing the front of the house, with a couple of chairs and net to stop birds invading.

We keep the place tidy, crockery in the dishwasher, sink and communal areas clear to use at the end of the day. We all enjoy a giggle and appreciate mutual respect around the house as we work hard and like to unwind; enjoying a casual and relaxed energy around the home and can often enjoy chat and a a laugh, occasional drink, meal, show or games at home.

The Area:
We are set back away from the main road, on the rear corner of a crescent, with green space around the rear, side and in front of the property, parks nearby and New River Walk 2 roads back, for ducks, koi and turtles. We are well situated to lots of bars, pubs, restaurants and cinemas, as well as having a Tesco and Sainsbury's within a few minutes walk.

Travel Connections:
5mins walk to Essex Road national rail.
10mins walk to Canonbury overground or Highbury & Islington overground/underground.
15mins walk to Angel underground.
20mins+ walk to Old Street and Dalston
We're on the following bus routes: 38, 56, 73, 271, 341 & 476.
There are reasonably priced parking permits in the area too.
