The house is located down a double gated entrance off of main roads with plenty of privacy, security and lighting – so expect a tranquil home with no loud traffic, train lines or loud people in the early hours. You’ll even be lucky enough to overlook an allotment, which is a nice surprise rather than facing opposite another house immediately next door.

All of the rooms have luxury carpet and are spacious with floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobes for storage, and one of the rooms even has a large balcony (no joke), with its own ensuite.

The house is only 3 years old, with underfloor heating on the ground floor, a modern kitchen with integrated appliances and plenty of storage space along with 3 fridges and 2 freezers, for only 4 people! The kitchen overlooks and opens onto a spacious private courtyard with a BBQ, perfect for the summer to enjoy the sun with a coffee or a good book. If you drive, then the house has a parking space (off road in the private parking area, which could be handy).

With two train stations Catford is perfectly located for professionals working in central London, getting to London Bridge in around 15 minutes (and then beyond or with plenty of connections) and Denmark Hill in roughly 14 with trains to London Victoria and beyond.
Catford is an up and coming area with a recently opened beer shop, gym, a bustling high street with its local Parkrun close by; expect the usual shops in a zone 3 area, such as an Argos, a Nandos, Wetherspoons and a few local shops.

A Lidl is within 7 minutes’ walk with a larger Tesco’s just a few minutes beyond, perfect for picking up groceries on the way home from work, or on the weekend without having to worry about lugging huge amounts uncomfortably home in the cold winter months.

The house currently has a long term working professional and a student living in it. The professional works in marketing in the city, is into fitness and cycling, enjoys baking, reading and getting out on the weekend. The student is currently studying at Greenwich with hopes to go onto studying a master’s degree, and is currently doing an English qualification, originally from Spain. Both are friendly, tidy and chatty individuals.

There is no living room but the rooms are large whilst the kitchen benefits from a 6 seater dining table and plenty of space, so there is more than enough space to have friends over, chat to house mates whilst having your own private spaces too.
