We have a large double bedroom available in our recently renovated lovely Victorian terrace house, just a few minutes’ walk from Catford & Catford Bridge train stations.

About the room

It's a huge room, furnished with a double bed, window seat with storage, two large fitted wardrobes with a massive amount of storage including draws. It has been recently renovated to a high standard.

About you and who you’ll be living with

You’ll be living with me (Chris), Steph, and Mica, all professionals in our twenties and thirties. We’re a pretty chilled household, happy to do our own thing, but also like to socialise over a drink or two. We’re looking for someone similar to this!

We all share cleaning of the common areas (living room, hallway, kitchen, bathroom etc)

About the house

It’s a beautiful terrace house and has been recently renovated to really high standard.
The new high spec kitchen has a dual temp oven, large American-style fridge freezer, dishwasher, and wide sliding doors opening up to a beautiful garden.
There’s a long bench table for breakfast or a quick sit-down dinner.
It's a stunning space, especially in summer when you can make dinner with the doors wide open, and eat in the garden!
The house has ultrafast Sky broadband with WIFI points throughout the house.

The bills are around £100 per month, although this may increase slightly with the increase in energy prices.

Nelgarde Rd is really well located. It’s a quiet residential street but only a four-minute walk to Catford Bridge station, and a few mins walk to Ladywell fields. There’s a big Tesco also only a few minutes walk. Catford has decent pubs and an awesome independent cinema (Catford Mews), cocktail and rooftop bars, and the Ninth Life pub which is great for a night out on the weekend.
There are two train stations nearby: Catford, and Catford Bridge.

Catford bridge station is a 4 min flat walk from the house, it offers trains to:
- London Bridge (11 mins)
- Cannon Street (about 20 mins)
- London Waterloo East (16 mins)
- London Charing Cross (about 20 mins)

Then there is Catford train station, about a 5 min walk from the house, which offers Thameslink trains to:
- Peckham and Denmark Hill, to connect onto the London Overground (about 15 mins)
- Elephant & Castle, London Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon, St Pancras (all about 30 mins)

We’ve also got great bus connections to Lewisham, Forest Hill, Sydenham, Greenwich and Blackheath.
