Double Room in a cozy flat in Chiswick

Living Room

I am renting out my bedroom as I am moving out to live with my boyfriend at the end of April.

I have been here since October 2025 and I have enjoyed this flat! I find it very cosy and yet has big windows that either face the garden (the bedrooms) or the neighbourhood (the living room)- you can open them in the summer!
The flat has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room. The room I am renting out is the biggest one, with a huge built-in wardrobe and a nice window for the sun to come in naturally in the morning. The living room is fairly big and welcoming, with an old marble fireplace that gives so much character to the place. It's so cozy for movie nights!

It is also very convenient as it is only a 5/6 minute walk from Gunnersbury Tube station, it's only a stop from Kew Gardens and a couple from Richmond. You can walk easily to Gunnersbury Park, which is less than 10 mins away and there is a small Coop by the station and a big Sainsbury's, M&S and Waitrose on the main street. The main street is full of shops and restaurants and there are markets every Sunday- specialising in flowers, cheese, food and vintage furniture depending on the week. It is very green, safe and with a nice atmosphere. It's so close to Hammersmith too and if you are into running, long walks or water sports, it's great as you can reach the riverfront in a few minutes and from there you can reach Barnes, Putney and more depending on the direction you take.

My flatmate moved in recently, she is a young professional working in theatre and in her twenties. She is very friendly, easy going and respectful and she would like to find a flatmate that makes this flat feel homely and positive. The contract runs until April 2027 with the opportunity to renew it after that but if, like me, something in your personal circumstances changes, you can always find another nice flatmate to replace you (like I am doing at the moment). All will be handled through Foxtons, and the landlords are very nice and helpful, we have a whatsapp group with them and you can message them directly.
