Double room in Clapham available 1st August.

Hello! We are Emmanuel and Amy and we are looking for a housemate to occupy our back double room, as our housemate will be moving back up north.

We are a pretty calm bunch - no late night parties or thumping music and we would like to meet a like minded person who will fit in well, and who is respectful of the people they live with. We all like to keep the place clean and tidy and are looking for someone who also takes some pride in their home. Living with us you can expect typical evenings to be spent cooking dinner or maybe watching a movie. If we're not at home/ normal life, it will be gym, climbing or evenings spent out with friends. We're a friendly bunch who like to host but our flat isn't a social hub per se - there won't be people coming and going at all hours! (Again, this is when things are back to normal).

The house is an upper floor flat set over 2 floors - bedrooms below and a really decent sized kitchen diner above. It has high ceilings, good landing space and a bathroom with over-bath shower.

The available room is a decent sized double in the middle of the house with bed, 2 wardrobes, a chest of drawers, a low table, light coloured carpet, and a blackout blind at the window. I, Emmanuel, have comfortably been living in this room for 2 years, so it's a wonderful size for a single person. ***If you are a couple, we have a more ideal/ bigger room to offer!***

The house is equi-distance between Clapham South, Clapham Junction and Wandsworth Common so is ideally placed for commuting into the city. We also have the advantage of being only a minutes walk away from Wandsworth Common. Northcote Road has lovely shops, cafes and restaurants - the area is well lit, very safe and has a family vibe about it.

Bills are on top of the room rent and are currently standing at roughly £115 per month. This includes all utilities, 200MB wifi, and twice monthly cleaner. We also share the cost of some household items such as toilet paper, washing tabs, washing up liquid, hand soap etc, although this is on a more informal 'taking it in turns to buy' basis.

Ultimately we are looking for someone who is (all the classics!) clean and tidy, respectful of their housemates and their possessions, friendly and kind ;)
