I am looking to rent our top floor furnished double bedroom with a private bathroom in our big family home, £1400 pcm Inc bills & Super broadband.
Move in date is June 21st onwards viewing is from June 18th. Viewing can be requested in advance via this platform.
Would suit a professional person - can offer Monday to Friday if this works better for 1200 pcm Inc bills.
Our house mate should be a professional person, responsible, and have good manners and coexisting habits.
Our last sharers were an Imperial college PHD student (30’s) & we also had two girls share short term as they were on tour (ballerina, 20’s) and we loved their energy, music and friends. We learnt how to make Chinese dumplings and the art of good stretching.
We do value alone time but adore fun people who are relaxed in a shared environment..
When enquiring about a viewing please let me know a little about yourself and move date preferences. Please don’t contact me if you cannot provide your picture ID prior to viewing.
We have a lovely, spacious family home centrally located house in Clapham. One block from the Common. Our house has a small patio garden with a man made BBQ, 3-4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lounge and dining area, a large kitchen with dishwasher, dryer and washing machine, plenty of sunlight in all rooms, hardwood floors, and tiled bathrooms. No parking.
We are five minute walk away from clapham junction (southwest to Waterloo/Victoria 4 minutes, Gatwick Airport approx 30 minutes ), 9 minute walk to Clapham Common (Northern line to Bank, Kings Cross to Amsterdam and Paris, Charing Cross)
Elizabeth line to Battersea Power station
Buses run regularly and go through Brixton, Shoreditch, Peckham, Sloan Square, South Kensington Imperial College, Aldwych, Elephant and Castle and Vauxhall)
We are a very short walk to ASDA, M&S, Bayley & Sage, Waitrose and Third Space is opening in spring. Battersea park is less than a 10 minute walk away.
There is a deeply evolved cafe culture, great bars, nightlife, restaurants and a perfect part of London for singles, families and people that like to have a wide choice modern amenities within walking distance.
Pro’s and cons
This is your home and it is a shared space - we do emphasise personal security/space so no hard party people! We are usually up at 630/730 and out by 8/830am.
We like people that are kind, polite, geeky, have a bright and positive nature, love to explore the world, enjoys being helpful, music, fashion, food and wine, easy to get along with
WFH x 3 days
One adult company director. Busy, friendly, (funny) and likely baking/cooking in between work.
One 10 year old week on/off -
interests are football, being hilarious and travel. He doesn’t fall in to the banging pots with spoons category, more of an articulate person but anyone needing a reference as to what it’s like to share space then you’re so welcome to ask and we will provide feedback from past tenants. !
We are busy but organised. Up and out 5 days per week. I tend to travel every month too.
I have an active social life through work and at weekends like to shop, pop out for lunches and dinners. Yoga. Chilling. Weights. Walking. Strategy. Business. Travel. Food. Food. Food. .
Security Deposit (1 month rent short let and 2 months for annual). One month of deposit used as last month of rent, one month is security deposit. If you are interested please note you will be asked to provide photo ID prior to any visits to this property. Please do not contact us if you are unwilling to provide this, and before renting we will ask for reference checks.
We look forward to you being the one!
