Huge Master Double, 2 mins Clapham Common

Hi — I'm the current tenant in this room and I'm moving out, so I'm advertising on behalf of the house. We're looking for a professional guy aged 22–32 to take the master double in our friendly Clapham houseshare.

THE ROOM:
The room is the biggest in the house — with two large built-in double wardrobes and still plenty of space for a desk and chair for WFH (and even a small sofa/armchair if you want one). Tall ceilings, bright, quiet street. I'm happy to leave my Kallax shelving unit (good condition) and desk (has an indent but still usable) if they're helpful — otherwise I'll clear them.

THE HOUSE:
The house is genuinely one of the nicer shares I've lived in. It'll be you, three women and Alfie — we're relaxed, enjoy the odd drink and occasionally eat together, but everyone has their own lives and circles. Some of us are into fitness, nothing too serious.

Cleaner comes regularly. Two bathrooms, big separate lounge, a really large kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a sunny patio garden that's a proper suntrap in summer. Decorated to a high standard throughout.

THE LOCATION:
Quiet road, ~15 min walk to both Clapham Common tube (Northern) and Clapham Junction (overground + trains everywhere). 2 mins to the Common itself. Loads of buses on the doorstep, the 87 and 137 are particularly handy. All the shops, pubs and restaurants of Clapham High St and Northcote Rd within easy reach.

THE TIMING:
The room's available from 2 May. The most important thing is finding somebody who's the right fit for the house, but being able to move in within a week of that date will stand you in good stead. The current housemates will make the final decision.
