We are looking for a new housemates to join our welcoming household of hip, young urban professionals*.
The house is really well situated in a peaceful neighbourhood, 10 minutes walk from Clapham South tube station on the northern line, and 15-20 minutes from Clapham Junction train station - there is also a very cute local bus that will take you to both, the G1.
There is no shortage of great bars and restaurant and several supermarkets within walking distance (10 minute walk to Northcote Road), as well as tennis courts, an outdoor gym and a bowling green just round the corner.
THE HOUSE
The house has five bedrooms split across three floors.
The ground floor of the house has a large living room, a large dining room that opens out onto the garden, two bathrooms, and a utility room that contains a washer/dryer and another washing machine. The first floor has a dining kitchen, a bath/shower room and separate toilet. There are four other bedrooms, split between the first and second floors.
There is a decent sized cellar under the house for storing bikes/your carpentry workshop or what have you.
The back garden is a good size and we're hoping our majestic pear tree will deliver a bumper crop to rival last year's come autumn.
THE ROOM
The room sits on the top level of the house. It has a gorgeous fireplace, which adds lots of charm to the room. It's furnished with a corner cupboard to store bulkier items, if required.
ABOUT US
You’ll sharing with five of us, aged from 25-29 Three of us are English: Simon (29) and Chris (26) Lizzie (25). The other two are Kiwis Tom and Lauren (both 25)
We are all friendly people and have a good rapport. We have varying attitudes to health and fitness, but all enjoy cooking together, a good Netflix session, Sunday strolls, pub quizzes, board games, and general shooting of the shit. Here’s hoping for more sunny days so we can get the BBQ back on in the garden - it has sadly been sitting there getting a touch rusty since one of the overly friendly neighbourhood foxes made off with the cover! Everyone has their own scene, but we’ve all got to know each others friends a bit too.
YOU
We are looking for someone in their mid twenties to early thirties to replace current roomie Vic, who has taken the plunge and leaving to buy. We are looking for a female to keep the balance.
We are expecting a fair few responses, so please help us out by telling us about yourselves in your message - your hobbies, interests, signature dish, or anything you like really so we can get a sense of whether you'd be a good fit!
We're hoping to schedule viewings over the next couple of weeks, so if you are interested and available, please drop us a message and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
