Light Garden-Side Double room and Study

The room we are renting out (previous decorations)

We have a generous and light double room+study for rent in a great location in Clapham Common.

The flat has a lot of space - huge light kitchen/dining area, large and bright shared lounge. There are 2 bedrooms and a study/small spare room, large bathroom with bath, separate toilet and a large private decked garden at the rear, and plenty of hallway storage.

The person/people who rent the room will have exclusive use of the study/spare room too as we don't require it - very useful if you're still WFH.

The room is available because our 2 friends have bought a house and so moved out, I want to stay on (honestly its hard to find this much space around here,... I tried....).

Current occupants - Richard and Sarah, we are a recently amicably separated couple (lockdown strikes again...). Richard will be moving back to New Zealand, however with Covid that is not likely to be quick, so he expects to be in the flat until October. So after he goes you will just be sharing the house with 1 other.

Richard is a Senior Sales Manager of highly exciting Data Storage solutions, and is in the office 1-2 days per week.

I am Sarah, I'm a self-employed Olympic Weightlifting Coach, we have good quality gym kit here that I'm happy to share with you, maybe get some workouts in together. Otherwise I enjoy painting and music. I tend to be out most evenings working, and I'm in and out during the day.

I run Zoom classes in the lounge 3 hours a week and tend to do my own Kettlebell workouts from the lounge during the week also #newnormal. Otherwise the lounge is absolutely an inviting and open space for everyone to share - and you're welcome to join my classes if you want!

I make amazing filter coffee...and usually make too much...

We have two AMAZING pets.... Furryous Death the kitty, and Pan the Pointer. They are both just under 2 years old, and will come for a walk with you around the local area if you give them the chance..... they are both well trained and well behaved, of course the dog barks when people approach the house.... but he's a timid and sweet large puppy who will approach you for pats when he see's you in the morning (or afternoon).

The room/s would suit a couple or single person, I'm not fastidiously tidy but I'm respectful of others who are, and we have a monthly cleaner to keep on top of the main stuff.

We have very fast broadband and good shower pressure...
