1 room in sociable Battersea / Clapham houseshare

Hello! 🏠

One room is coming free in our Battersea terraced townhouse from 3rd May. It's light, airy, and fully furnished with a double bed. You'll share a bathroom with just two other people.

We're looking for full-time working professionals. We'd prefer male to keep the house balance, but we're open to anyone who's a genuinely good fit. With 8 people sharing, being clean, tidy, and respectful matters. We're a friendly bunch and welcome people from all backgrounds. No students, pets, or couples please.

💸 Bills: approx £75/month

Location 📍

10 minutes on foot from Clapham Junction and Battersea Park, on a quiet residential street. The high street is great, with cafés, pubs, restaurants, and gyms all within easy reach. Sainsbury's Local is 2 minutes away, Tesco is 5 minutes, and Lidl, Asda, and everything Clapham Junction has to offer are a 10 minute walk. The area is safe, well connected by public transport day and night, and there's plenty going on.

The house 🏡

The kitchen doubles up on everything: two fridges, two stoves, two ovens. There are 4 shower rooms, one per floor, so morning queues are not a thing. A comfortable lounge and a back yard that has hosted many good evenings.

The housemates 👥

We're mostly UK and New Zealand professionals working across marketing, sales, engineering, film, data, and more. Interests range from the gym, hiking, climbing, going out, music, yoga, and film. Schedules broadly align, and with some of us working from home there's usually someone around, handy for deliveries.

We keep the house in good shape and treat it as a home. We'd want the same from you.

It seems like a lot of people, but with busy schedules it never feels crowded and we all get on really well as friends. At weekends we get together for drinks and shared meals. During the week it's pub quizzes, film nights, board game evenings. We're looking for someone who can be a good friend and part of the group. Everyone has their own busy life too though, so no pressure if that's you. ✌️
