Spacious Queen Bed Room with shower room in Clapham South

Hey everyone, we have a large queen room with shower room available to move from 3rd May in our lovely Clapham South home. The house is located approximately 4 minutes walk from Clapham South tube station, and just off of Clapham Common, with 3 different supermarkets at the top of the road (including a Tesco superstore), and as many pubs and restaurants as you could wish for! 😊

About the room:

The available room in the house is spacious and north facing with an en-suite shower and sink. It comes furnished with a queen bed with storage underneath, a large wardrobe, a desk and chair, and 2 chest of drawers.

About the house:

The house has a huge modern kitchen ideal for entertaining with plenty of space for everyone to cook and catch up. The living room, where we love to chill in the evenings and watch TV when we’re about, is large and sunny, and gives access to the back garden with a decking and outdoor table - where we enjoy plenty of BBQs in the summer!

About you:

To keep the balance of the house, we would prefer a 25-30 year old tenant. We are also quite a social house and someone who is willing to join us for drinks and games would fit into the house very well (brownie points for contributions to our alcohol cupboard).

About the housemates:

Faye (28) works in HR and loves watching F1 and exploring the craziness that is London. She enjoys going out for drinks and chilling with friends, but also loves a good book and always has a TV series on the go, currently rewatching Vampire Diaries for the millionth time.

Henry (25) works for an animation software development company. He loves playing hockey, gym, running and having a lazy night in cooking with a bottle of wine. Not to mention, loving a thirsty Thursdays.

We all met through SpareRoom and since then have become top pals. We are looking to keep the atmosphere of the house super friendly and sociable, being able to retain a ‘home’ feeling as soon as we all step through the door.

The deposit for the room is £1440.46, the rent is £1352.40 and bills come to roughly £100 per person every month. The landlord stipulates that you must have either worked in UK for over 3 years or have a UK guarantor who has income to support rent.

References will be required. The contract lasts until November, however it can be extended 😊
