Double Room in lovely flat in Clapton , Hackney

Lovely double room available in a bright, clean and well maintained flat near to Clapton Pond, Hackney. The flat has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with dining table, shared bathroom with a bath and shower, but no shared lounge. The room is a small double and is furnished with a double bed and wardrobe. The room also has sole use of an under stairs cupboard just outside the room for additional storage.

I have lived in the flat for over 3 years and it’s been a very happy home. I'm now looking for someone to take my place as I'm moving in with my partner.

You would be living with Mark and Vicki. Mark is gay and works full time for an LGBT charity, and Vicki is currently studying art. They would ideally like to find a housemate who is LGBT friendly, like-minded and looking for a nice home rather than a party pad.

Clapton has great transport links and the flat is about a 10 minute walk from the Overground which is direct to Liverpool Street in 12 minutes. The street is tree-lined and leafy and there are lots of cool cafes, shops, bars and pubs in the local area, as well as parks and open spaces

The rent is £580 per month, payable on 20th, and bills are around another £100 per month on top. The contract is currently on a rolling basis with the landlord who we deal with directly and is friendly and reliable. There are no fees to pay, though references may be requested. The deposit is £854 (an equal share based on the total rent for the flat).

The room is available from 2nd January (possibly a few days before if required) and the first month's rent will be pro-rated.
