Hi!
Our housemate is moving out at the end of July and we’re looking to fill the room! Remaining housemates have been friends since school.
It’s absolutely huge (currently has a king size bed) and lots of built in hanging space.
Rest of the house has a shared living room, south facing balcony, decently sized kitchen and 1.5x bathrooms.
You would be sharing with Hettie, a software developer working for an ed tech, and Iola, a paralegal for family law!
The bedroom comes unfurnished.
Bedroom faces a cul de sac so very quiet. Private parking.
Rent is £750 a month (at the moment we’re on a rolling contract because one of the landlords is potentially selling their share to the other).
Electricity (top up) is about £20ish every three weeks (could go up with cost of living etc).
Heating is included (so nice in the winter).
Council tax £79 a month, but paid 6/12 months.
Gas £4-£5 a month.
Water roughly £60 every 6 months.
We have a cleaning rota we each do once a week, you’re welcome to do that yourself or book a cleaner (£30)
There is space for a bike inside the house when first moving in, but we would ask that you please apply for a hangar space that is situated just outside of the building which has a £20 deposit and then is £30 a year.
