Room in a lovely leafy flat in Clapton

We’re looking for a flatmate to move into our lovely home in Clapton. The room is bright and spacious, in our Victorian maisonette on a quiet road in Clapton, close to Clapton overground (5 mins walk) and Rectory Road overground (10 mins walk).

The room:
A bright and spacious room at the back of the house, looks out over gardens so it’s really quiet (except for a few London foxes!). The room can be furnished or unfurnished as our current flatmate is happy to sell her furniture as she’s moving abroad. It has ample space for a wardrobe, chest of drawers and desk. The landlord provides a bed.

The flat:
The flat is a beautifully renovated Victorian terrace flat split over two levels, with the three bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor. The bathroom has a separate shower and bath. On the lower ground floor, there’s an open plan living and kitchen space with bifold doors that open out to the little patio garden. We’re hoping to do more with the garden next year! The living room is perfect for entertaining and hanging out with the world’s comfiest sofa and lots of work space for cooking! There’s also a little separate loo downstairs.

The girls:
Hannah and Tyne would be your future housemates! Tyne moved in about a year ago and Hannah moved in August. We’re looking for a lovely third flatmate to join us. We’re really looking for someone who is similar - has a busy life with their own friends and is active but enjoys hanging out and quiet evenings in the flat. We enjoy spending time together but are fond of our own space. During the weeks we’re both busy working, seeing friends and going to the yoga/gym/running, but we also love cooking together and having friends over for dinner. We’re partial to a Friday night pint or two and trying new local bars and restaurants together.

Location
It’s a dreamy location to be honest! A stone’s throw from Clapton and the overground that goes straight to Liverpool Street in fifteen minutes, but also only a 15 min walk to Stoke Newington and lovely Church Street. There’s so much green space around us, with Milfields and Springfield parks close to us, the canal and Hackney Downs, Clissold Park, Victoria Park and London Fields all within walking distance.

Our current housemate is moving abroad in mid April so we would need someone able to take over her tenancy on the 20th April.
