Spacious and light double bedroom in Clapton flat

Charming first floor Clapton flat, located on a quiet street not far from parks, shops and cafes. The flat it nicely decorated and has the charm of old houses with its very high ceiling and original wooden floorboards.

The double bedroom comes furnished with a bed and mattress, ample floor to ceiling cupboards and a mid century wooden dresser with a mirror.

Main transport hubs are buses and overground, 10-15 minutes walk to Hackney Downs and Hackney Central station, as well as Clapton and Rectory Road.

You would live with one other housemate, me!
I’m French and work a normal 9-5 in the fashion and textile industry, generally always from the office.

I am looking for someone quiet, respectful and clean. This is a no shoes inside household. The neighbours are a family with young kids and long time owners who appreciate and reciprocate a calm environment, as the floorboard between ground and first floor are not soundproofed. It isn’t a « party » flat, I sometimes host dinners but I like to keep the noise at a minimum, and I enjoy spending time alone as much as hanging out and socialising.

Preferably, I’d like to find just a woman to share this flat with! But if you are a chill, clean and respectful couple aware of privacy etc, please get in touch (the rent would be split differently too, please be aware that the price advertised is for a single person).

Move in date is 1 May, the rent is advertised for a single person and is £1.286/month including council tax, excluding bills. Bills are around £94/month, internet included.
