This cosy and conveniently-located double room is available to view as I’m moving in with my boyfriend in November/whenever this room is taken. If not, I would not be leaving this little affordable yet precious gem of a place!

About The Room

This room sits facing the garden, making it nice and quiet. It’s a ground floor flat so you’ve got full use of the garden. It comes furnished with a huge wardrobe, storage space and a double bed with possibly a mattress topper if you play your cards right. I also have a desk in the room and I’m happy to either take this with me or leave it for your use for an additional fee.

The rent itself is so cheap (only £385 base rent with an extra £5 for water). Other bills typically add up to a final monthly price of £425-£450 depending on how cold it is.

About The Flat

Did I mention the huge garden? The sunny, SW facing garden out back is huge and is perfect for any green thumbed flat hunters. The garden connects onto the open plan living room / kitchen which comes with a gas hob, oven, worktop, kettle, microwave and toaster. You’ll also have your own cupboard and fridge space in the sizeable fridge freezer.

The living room has a large sofa and TV to veg out in front of. There’s also a book shelf, table with dining chairs and a washing machine.

There are two bathrooms and you will have use of the larger one facing the garden. There’s a powerful shower, bathtub, sink, toilet and storage.

There’s also extra storage in the hallway, kitchen and by the entrance to the flat.

About The Flatmates

There’s four flatmates and one furry friend in this property. There’s Martina (25) who works in fashion, Michaela (23) who works at a girls school, Luna (30) who is a make-up artist and hostess, and Lester (32) who’s a bookie. They’re all really friendly and nice people who like to hang out for movie nights and socialise but also do their own thing other times. Everyone’s very accommodating so if you’re chatty or quiet, they’ll work with you to make sure you’re comfortable. Two of our flatmates are LGBTQ+ so, whilst you don’t need to be yourself, only get in touch if you’re LGBTQ+ friendly.

This is a joint share so the only real rule is that if you move out, you find someone to replace you. Simples! Of course there’s also Astral, who’s the adorable tabby living here. He’s very playful and loves cuddles and attention - so cat lovers to the front of the queue!

About Transport

Cricklewood is in Zone 2. You’re on the doorstep of Cricklewood Thames link station (2 minutes walk away). It will take less than 15-minutes for Kings Cross and under 20-minutes for Central London. You’re also just over an hour away direct to Brighton - so perfect for sunny bank holidays away! Willesden Green (Jubilee Line) is an easy 20-minute walk away if you prefer.

If you prefer the bus, there’s a bus stop virtually outside the house that will take you to West Hampstead, Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Hampstead Heath (great walks) and Golders Green in 5-15 minutes depending on traffic.

About Location

You’ll be on a well connected road that is a five-minute walk to Cricklewood Broadway which boasts a host of supermarkets (Tesco and Co-Op), takeaways (McDonalds, KFC, Papa John’s) and pubs and bars (Wetherspoons included for those wanting to save money). You’re also a two minute walk away from the nearest gym, Virgin Active that Michaela goes too. It has all the usuals plus a pool and steam room.
