This ground floor Crouch End flat in the heart of Crouch End is only a moment's walk to the Broadway and offers the best transport links available in N8.
The room is a furnished double with a bedside table, drawers and has garden access from the room. There is a wardrobe for hanging space currently in the living area (to give more space in the bedroom). Bills are included in the rent price. One month rent would be needed as a deposit. The previous tenant has moved out of London, so move in date is flexible. We have a live-out landlord, but he is very responsive if there are any problems.
There is a cosy, shared living room with a sofa, table, and telly with garden for sunny coffee mornings. The building entrance is a double door key- access, so it feels both safe and comfortable.
The flat also benefits from additional spaces - especially useful if due to COVID-19 you are someone who currently works from home. The living room would be free in the day until about 5pm as I currently go out to work or there is also a shed space that could be converted into an office if you want differentiation from 'home' and 'work'.
You would be living with one other tenant - I'm a 37-year old Australian. I work in a school Muswell Hill so generally I am out during the week between 8 - 5pm, but I work from home on Thursdays. I am a friendly and generous flatmate who loves food & wine and good Netflix binge. I am happy to share the occasional meal, wine and chat and ideally would like to live with someone who enjoys those things too.
The flat is positioned between Crouch End and Finsbury Park. It's a short walk to reach either Co-op, Waitrose or Tesco or catch the 41 bus to Archway Aldi - almost door to door. There is also an array of coffee shops and restaurants in Crouch End Broadway (when restrictions are lifted) less than 5mins walk away. For the gym type - Tottenham YMCA or Virgin Active are both within walking distance. If you like extra green spaces - Alexandra Palance, Queens and Highgate Woods are less then 30mins walk from the flat and Priory Park is less than 5 minutes.
Transport wise, there is connections to W3; W7; 91 and 41 bus stops within 2mins walk - these buses are a short ride to but give great connections to a range of tube options - Highgate (Northern line); Finsbury Park (Victoria Line) or Turnpike Lane (Piccadilly line), Kings Cross (numerous lines) Hornsey train station is also nearby (7mins walk).
The flat has broadband. The central heating is very good so it's cozy in the winter.
