Welcome home :)

We are a group of people that have been living together for a few years now, but one of us is starting a new adventure in Japan leaving an empty spot in the house.

It’s a lovely double room, medium sized, fully furnished and facing the garden. We have a decent-size garden and nice neighbours. The rent is £603 plus bills (that come around £130). The room will be available on the 13th of April.

The house is a 5min walk from Hornsey Station towards Finsbury Park and Moorgate and a 10-15min walk from Turnpike Lane (you can take the bus too). 30-40m from Central London. In Crouch End, just around the corner, you can find nice shops and restaurants, and in Hornsey we have a big Sainsbury’s and of course the beautiful Alexandra Park.

The ones that are staying, we are English, Spanish and Portuguese, all professionals and working different schedules. There’s always someone in the house (good for deliveries), but we can go weeks without seeing one another. We’re all independent in our lives, but enjoy a good chatting when together, always respecting each other’s space and privacy. We all have artistic hobbies, from music, illustration and writing.

We are looking for someone who’s independent, clean, friendly, respectful and communicative. This is our lovely home and hopefully yours too.

For the practicalities, we have a cleaning rota, a bills system and an expense system, so it’s very organised. You will be taking the Thames water bill in your name, as we all take care of a bill each.

We would prefer a non-smoker, but we have a garden you can smoke in (unless you vape). We can’t allow pets, but pets can come as visitors :) While we have the odd gathering/soiree, we are always respectful, and definitely no party animals. We are queer friendly as one of us is gay.

The agent is nice and will come to fix stuff, but otherwise, we run the house as we want to.
