Hi!

I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me in my spacious flat in the lovely Crouch End. I have lived here for the past 2.5 years and can attest to this being a brilliant area. Crouch End has a town-like feeling to it, with plenty of greenery and a good selection of shops, pubs, etc. Alexandra Palace is 5 minutes walk away and is a lovely park in the summer. Central London (e. g. Kings Cross) can be reached by public transport in around 25 minutes. I personally commute by bike and find the journey pleasant and safe.

The flat is very large, with lots of shared space including the large living room with lots of natural light, and a large kitchen too. The bedroom for rent is the largest in the property and is on the upper level of the apartment. The flat features a lovely terrace with a BBQ, accessible via either steps outside or with direct access from the rented bedroom.

Exact rent is still to be negotiated with the landlord, but we have been told to expect around £900-950 pcm. The contract would start from 11th May, but the property will be available from 1st May due to the previous tenant moving out.

About me: I am an easy going flatmate, happy to socialise but also to allow each other time to ourselves. I am in the final half of completing my PhD in medical physics, so mostly work in the office/lab but occasionally from home. In my free time, I run quite a lot and compete for a London club, but also enjoy other bits and pieces like climbing and just generally being outside. I love to cook and enjoy a nice beer.

Note: the property is technically unfurnished but by living here for 2.5 years I have collected most things that are needed! The bedroom will include a bed, mattress, wardrobe, drawers, etc. basically everything apart from the desk seen in the photos. The old flatmate will likely ask for a small fee to pass the items on to the next person (as has happened for the last two tenants).
