Thinking about self-distancing in a beautiful sharehouse with a lovely group of housemates?

We have a cosy bright double room in De Beauvoir Town. The house is a lovely 3 bedroom terrace (the whole house) in a very quiet neighbourhood. We have been here for three and a half years and we love it. Sadly one of our housemates has lost her job in the coronavirus economic downturn. She needs to return to her family home to help with childcare. These are hard times and we will miss her greatly :(

It barely needs mentioning that these are difficult and uncertain times. Rest assured we are a house of easygoing and considerate people. And we are clean, especially now!

It's a big house with a lot of living space. We are all professionals working variously in human rights, law, sustainability and design. We have an excellent working from home environment set up - plenty of space, two large tables, a sun room and a deck. It's easy to find your own place to set up and take video calls. When we aren't working we like music, movies and dancing in the kitchen.

The location is great, bus stop around the corner (141, 21 and 76) and Haggerston station is about 5-10mins walk away. The De Beauvoir Deli is around the corner from our place for all your fancy coffee and sourdough needs. Dalston is close enough that you can go out if you want but far enough away that you don’t hear anything and so many good pubs close by - Scolt Head, Rosemary Branch, the Talbot. The street is very quiet even when we aren't "locked down", so you don't hear cars or buses. The room looks onto the beautiful backyards of the other houses in the area (including our own). It's very green.

The house has a large living and dining room - we have a tv but keep it tucked away most of the time unless people want to watch a movie or something. There’s a big kitchen, a conservatory filled with plants and a couch. The conservatory tends to be too cold to use in winter but is beautiful in spring and summer. There is also a backyard/deck for summer dinners.

There are two bathrooms, one with shower and toilet and one with a big free standing bath and toilet. The room is smallish but has a huge number of built in cupboards. It can be a bit tight at times for a couple (although its past occupants, whom we dearly miss, made it work for 18 months) and would be fairly spacious for a single.

We all do our own groceries but do an occasional online shop for shared things like toilet paper, cleaning products etc. It's a friendly communal house. We often eat together and sometimes share dinners, but it’s adhoc. I’ve got to say there are some decent cooking skills in the house (including fresh pasta).

We have a cleaner who comes once a week, and works out to be quite cheap when you split the cost.

Monthly bills for the room are roughly:
- Council tax: £35
- Electricity and gas: around £10
