De Beauvoir Flat | Double room + walk-in wardrobe

Hi!

We’re three English girls in our late twenties and early thirties, looking for a lovely, down-to-earth girl to join us in our beautiful De Beauvoir flat. Sadly, our current housemate is moving in with her boyfriend and so we’re looking for someone to take over her room.

The flat
It’s a massive split level flat which feels more like a house, in beautiful condition. We’re on the second and third floor of a lovely, secure building on a quiet street. There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms and plenty of under stairs and cupboard storage.

We have a large kitchen-living room, which is where we spend most of our time. In the kitchen, there are two big fridges, a large freezer and lots of storage space. The lounge is really homely, and you’ll often find at least one of us watching something binge-worthy on the sofas. We also have a little balcony, with table and chairs, which is lovely to sit out on in the summer.

Your bedroom is on the third floor and you’ll be sharing a shower/bathroom with two other girls. Roxy has an ensuite in her room and there is a second toilet downstairs too.

The room
Your room is a double bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe (total winner) and really bright natural light thanks to four large floor to ceiling windows. It comes with a double bed and one mirror. It costs £850 a month - an absolute bargain for the size, the walk-in wardrobe and the location!

Area
This is hands down one of the best areas in London (not that we’re biased). It is walking distance to Angel, Islington, Shoreditch, Haggerston, Dalston, London Fields and the City. There are amazing pubs, cafes and restaurants all around; plenty of parks and the canal!

Transport
We’re just five minutes walk from Essex Road station, 15 minutes walk to Highbury & Islington and 15 minutes walk to Old Street. Best of all, there are lots of bus stops which go to Kings Cross, Oxford Circus, the City and Victoria just 5 mins from the flat.

Bills
Our bills are £129 a month. They cover:
- Gas and electric
- Sky TV
- Internet
- Water
- Council tax
- Weekly cleaner

About us
We’re three easy-going girls who work in branding, advertising and payments. We get on really well and we’re looking for someone who wants to share a cup of tea or a glass of wine on evenings, as we binge-watch the latest TV drama. We have also been known to play tennis together on weekends and then head out for brunch. Mostly though, it’s chocolate cake in front of the telly or night’s out dancing in The Old Queen’s Head. We like to keep the flat clean and tidy too, so no one too messy please!
