Fantastic double room in De Beauvoir Town

I’m very sad to be leaving this household! The location is amazing. A five minute walk to Haggerston station, with Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland a 7 min walk away. A ten minute bus ride will get you into the City. Loads of bike routes nearby as well.

The house has 5 bedrooms and never feels crowded. There are 3 storeys, and the ground floor has a small WC, bikes and closest storage and a large open kitchen/dining area plus a living space. Stays bright thanks to the glass doors leading to the fenced back garden.

One floor up is another storage closet we use for luggage, and two bedrooms belonging to current flat mates. On the top floor are the 3 other bedrooms, of which one being this room with an en-suite. The room is spacious, with a double bed and has lots of storage space with sliding doors and a full length mirror.

The house is surrounded by Dalston to the east, De Beauvoir to the west, Shoreditch and Hoxton to the south, and Stoke Newington to the north. Plenty of options for groceries in all directions, from Tescos and corner shops to fancy delis if that’s your thing. At one end of our street is De Beauvoir Square, which is full of roses in the summer and a great place for a social distance picnic. Head the other way and you’ll come to the canal, where you can take a scenic walk in either direction. London Fields is about 25 min east walking along this route.

Bills are handled amongst the housemates and split evenly which include council tax, water, energy, sky tv and internet. They never are more than £100 per month.
