Big room in beautiful house w/garden, De Beauvoir

This ad is for a large (17m2) room in a beautiful house in the centre of De Beauvoir. The room has plenty of space for a desk and furniture. There is a big window, which looks on to a tree with birds singing. There is also a large sink and mirror in the corner of the room (behind the right cupboard door in the picture).

The house has a huge, glass-roofed kitchen/diner, an amazing garden with lots of plants and roses, two further living rooms and two bathrooms. Everything is decorated really tastefully and the house has great furniture and equipment. The street is also great; there is barely any traffic so it is virtually silent at night. It's very picturesque.

You'll be moving in with three lovely housemates, 2 girls and 1 guy, age 30-35. All professionals, with one also studying part time. One German, one French-Canadian, one Pakistani-American.

We've been together as a house for nearly 2 years but I am now moving out due to having bought my own place. There's good camaraderie and we often watch TV and eat meals together, but we also have our own space and interests.

You would be taking over my place on the lease, which is due to expire at the end of August. The remaining housemates are keen to renew the lease for another year at the beginning of September, so you would need to commit to another year of lease. But you are allowed to relinquish the lease during the year if you find another housemate to replace you.

The room didn't come with any furniture apart from the built-in wardrobe but I can leave some of my furniture, by negotiation.
