Double en-suite room available in this lovely De Beauvoir two-bed flat as my flatmate is leaving.
** Note: this is a 3-month short let with potential to turn into long let as the current tenancy runs until mid July. You'll have the option to extend, but I will be moving out in July (with a lot of the furniture, which mostly belongs to me, but I'll most likely be looking to sell a lot of it) **
The flat is located in a 5-unit gated complex one row behind the main road, which makes it ideally secure, quiet and private. It has a large open-plan kitchen, living room and dining area with bi-fold doors leading out onto a private terrace perfect for lounging and eating al fresco on sunny days.
Not pictured are a spacious entrance area with a half bathroom and utility closet.
Each tenant also has their own fridge/freezer.
The bedroom is a large double and depending on how you'd like to style the space, has a walk-in wardrobe which leads onto the en-suite bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower. The room comes part furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers and a mirror (mine, I don’t use it so happy to lend/sell). Note most of the pictures show my flatmate's furniture.
About myself: I am a French female finance professional in my thirties, I practice yoga and work out most days, and enjoy going to the farmers market, going for coffee and walks in the neighbourhood at the weekend.
I am looking for a tidy, clean and easy going working professional who enjoys socialising whilst also being respectful of each other's space.
The move-in date can be flexible by a couple weeks (earlier or later), but rent is paid on the 17th of the month.
Bills average £385 and include council tax, internet, electricity and gas (this includes a generous estimate of £50 per month for water, which is payable every 6 months).
Note that this is not a sublet - a lease amendment will be required to add a second person, but it's very easy and free with our agency.
It really is a lovely space and is amazingly located being moments from the De Beauvoir deli and pub, the canal and with easy walking distance/public transport to Broadway Market, Victoria park, Angel, Highbury&I, the City.
